The PPG 1002 Returns

The Liquid Sky artist collective and Hamburg based developer Cornel Hecht have announced the reissue of the PPG 1002. A spokesperson told us, "One of the rarest and most iconic analog synthesizers in electronic music history, originally developed by Wolfgang Palm in the late 1970s, the PPG 1002 laid the groundwork for legendary instruments like the Wave 2 and Wave 2.2."

Now rebuilt as a handcrafted, strictly limited reissue of only 102 units worldwide, the PPG 1002 is more than a synthesizer: it is a tribute to electronic innovation and a commitment to ecological responsibility.

A significant part of the profits will go toward land acquisition for the Liquid Sky reforestation project in southern Portugal.

The PPG 1002 will be demonstrated live at Superbooth Berlin
Friday and Saturday at 14:00
