Sampleson Introduces Predictor

Sampleson has announced the release of Predictor, which they describe as a creative MIDI plugin that learns from any MIDI file and generates new melodic and harmonic content that the user can trigger in real-time via mouse clicks, computer keyboard, or MIDI controller.

They say that Predictor analyzes cadences, note relationships, velocity patterns, structural position, modulations, and other musical features from the MIDI file you load. Using this analysis, it predicts upcoming notes and voicings.

A spokesperson told us, "You control the rhythm, Predictor takes care of the notes. Each input you give it triggers a prediction, letting you shape the outcome of the phrase in real time."

Predictor comes with a curated library of 600 MIDI files to get you started, and supports user-imported MIDI files through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Integration with any DAW is seamless, making it a flexible tool for producers, composers, and music explorers alike.
