Playing The Album Cover Art Synth !

US Impressive DIY synth and audio mangler on sleeve circuit board      17/04/25

Some people like to push the boat out when they release an album - perhaps throwing in some glossy stickers, postcards, or tote bag to accompany the release. Here we have an altogether more impressive accompaniment; album cover art which is a synth and audio mangler! What's on show is an incredibly fully-featured synth and audio processor, which encourages experimentation - with some madcap sounds. Here's more:

I helped a friend build their copy of the recent A Place To Bury Strangers album, Synthesizer, the cover to which is a functional circuit board that becomes a DIY synth as well as an audio mangler. Very cool idea with gnarly results!

At the time of recording, this album was still available, but it took a while to edit and publish, so availability may be have changed, so YMMV
