Ray-Traced Audio from Your GPU

US Incredibly accurate room replication now possible      08/04/25

The idea of using your GPU for Audio has been extensively covered by GPU Audio, who recently released their SDK. In this video we take a look at an audio process which can be optimized for GPU processing - ray-traced audio. In a similar way to how ray traced lighting works in video games, the same methodology is used here to demonstrate how ray-tracing can be applied to audio.
