Acustica Audio Tease New Synth: Alice 9

This week, Acustica Audio previewed their latest soft-synth design. Alice 9 appears to be blessed with the livery of a classic Roland Polysynth, but look closely and you'll notice that it's not merely a virtual analogue design.

From an initial glace, it appears that the device uses two sample-based oscillators. Each has a modulatable sample start point parameter, and this can be used to vary the attack transients of a repeated sound. VCO 3 & 4 offer basic subtractive shapes, and VCO3 can cross-modulate VCO1 for sci-fi tones.

I couldn't see a price as yet, but the synth is expected in 1-2 months.
