Tim Exile Launches PTNSHIFT Inspired By Authechre

Tim Exile is back with  PTNSHIFT, a generative live performance instrument designed for Ableton Push 2 and 3 and has its own custom UI elements.
Developed in Native Instruments' Reaktor, PTNSHIFT is built for real-time pattern generation, mixing, and FX manipulation, combining elements of modular synthesis with DJ-style control.

Inspired by Autechre's approach to generative live performance, PTNSHIFT features:

• Two modes:
  • Note Mode – for preparing and curating patterns into collections
  • Session Mode – for live triggering, manipulation, and blending of patterns
• Six generative synth engines
• Two FX engines
• Multiband summing and dynamics processing

PTNSHIFT is compatible with Scapeshift, Exile's previous composition tool, allowing users to export and share patterns between both systems. The package includes a MacOS and Windows companion app for displaying the Reaktor interface on Push 2's screen.

PTNSHIFT is available via Tim Exile's Patreon store for $59 + tax, with a PTNSHIFT & Scapeshift bundle offered at $99 + tax. A full Native Instruments Reaktor license is required to run PTNSHIFT without restrictions.
