The Yamaha CS series, is a superb collection of synthesizers (one of my all time favourites!) and here we have a look at the Yamaha CS-15 with AutomaticGainsay. This series, so far comprises of 5 parts, each with a look at one specific element of the synth. The combination of features on the CS-15 allows for a huge variety of sounds, with multiple filters, filter modes and much more.

The Yamaha CS-15 is one of the most undersung analog synths ever created.  It is capable of an astonishing amount of great-sounding and clever applications of synthesis.  Here is one!

The theme music is the theme music from my original Yamaha CS-15 video series, which is worth a watch!  It was created entirely with sounds from the Yamaha CS-15 (except drums), often multitracked to achieve polyphony.
