Softube Updates Console 1 Mixing System

Softube has updated their Console 1 Mixing System. They say that this latest release adds even more control to the hybrid mixing system that launched its own class of gear. This Console 1 Mixing System Mk III software update means that Direct DAW Control for Steinberg's Cubase and Nuendo DAWs is now out of beta. Here's more details direct from Softube...

This highly anticipated update of the Console 1 Mixing System Mk III comes primarily in response to the needs of its users. Softube analyzed feedback from owners and worked in collaboration with Steinberg to better fit the system to the current needs of modern music production.

Cubase & Nuendo Direct DAW Control
With Direct DAW Control for Cubase and Nuendo, Console 1 Mixing System Mk III users can control volume, solo, pan, mute, sends, VCAs, and track selection, and receive track names, colors, and numbers, without the need for the Console 1 plug-in.

Pro Tools Direct DAW Control
Softube continues to make Avid Pro Tools even stronger in the Console 1 Mixing System. For a more integrated look and feel, Softube has added track colors and numbers to Pro Tools HUI for Console 1 Fader Mk III. Users can also now see the Pro Tools EQ Display in Pro Tools when adjusting the EQ on Console 1.

Sends Spill, Parameter Spill Mode & New Waveform View in On-Screen Display
With the addition of new fader modes for Console 1 Fader Mk III, users can access all six sends of a track on the first six faders. Improvements to Param Mode also make it easy to access Console 1 Channel's parameters from the faders, for example, a whole EQ band or compressor. Softube has also made the gain reduction waveform available in the OSD of all generations of the Console 1 Channel hardware.

Complimentary update
This Console 1 Mixing System update is available to current Console 1 owners at no charge. Current owners need only update Console 1 software in Softube Central to begin enjoying the benefits of this update.
