Plastikman - Musik 30th Anniversary

Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman celebrated the 30th anniversary of the release of his Musik album - and here we have him in conversation after a listening party in Berlin. Musik is the third studio album by Richie Hawtin, and his second studio album under the alias Plastikman - released on November 8, 1994 by Novamute Records and Plus 8, peaking at number 58 on the UK Albums Chart. A few weeks ago, to celebrate the re-release of the Plastikman album "MUSIK" (for its 30th anniversary) we held an intimate listening session in Berlin at After. Sitting there with a group of friends, fans & strangers was quite the out-of-body experience which went deep within my mind and soul. Afterwards I had a chat with Chloe Lula (Resident Advisor, Senior Producer) and spoke and remembered about some of the small and important details of when/why/how this album (and other Plastikman albums) were made.
