Debut Album Release - The Yellow Knife

The first 'proper' ConstantLittleGhost album "The Yellow Knife" was released in October. Although largely written with synths and samples and with no particular genre in mind, the end result is an electronic album which tips a hat to psychedelia, post-rock, and lo-fi guitar music as well as a hint of minimalist and experimental classical sounds.

On release, "The Yellow Knife" made the Top 10 post-rock album releases on Bandcamp in October, with supporters commenting they can hear suggestions of Cocteau Twins, Mogwai, Pink Floyd/David Gilmour, Craven Faults, and others.

As well as being entirely written, recorded and performed by myself over the summer of 2024, the end release was also an opportunity to mix and master the tracks, which proved to be an exciting process and a great learning experience.

Currently working on the process of playing "The Yellow Knife" live in 2025.

Congratulations on your first album release - a very relaxing and melodic experience, with some lovely textures. Well done on getting in the Bandcamp charts!
