Sherman Filterbank vs Virus TI Sawtooth

US Monster sounds from classic squelchy filter      29/11/24

Sometimes just the sound of a filter is enough - as shown here by The Rumble Channel, playing a Virus TI through the Sherman FilterBank. It doesn't take long to start really going places, and it sounds lush on every step of the sequence. Is there any other hardware filter which can compare to this?! Here's what he has to say:

A spontaneous video i made when i was playing with the Sherman Filterbank. The input signal is a basic sawtooth arpeggio from the Virus TI. Some delay is added after the Sherman. The audio was recorded into Logic and later added to the video, so the quality should be acceptable. This filter is a monster!! Thanks for watching!
