Chris from MidiCake showed us the latest updates on their ARP parametric sequencer, an advanced arpeggiator designed to push musical boundaries. Chris mentioned that MidiCake has consistently enhanced ARP since its debut, with regular updates every few months. The latest updates have introduced new timing capabilities, allowing for unconventional beat patterns, and pattern features like chops and ratchets.

Additionally, Chris highlighted the modulation sequencing and MIDI CC LFOs that enable extensive modulation targets and control of external gear while maintaining sync with ARP's music. You can set almost infinite sequences through its deterministic design, making it a powerful tool for both standalone use or alongside a MIDI keyboard.
