Buongiorno To The Arturia Synthx V

US One of the last great polysynths      08/10/24

Arturia today announce the release of the Synthx V - an emulation of the classic 80's Elka Synthex, long associated with the Jean Michel Jarre Laser Harp, obviously it can do so much more. The original was from 1981 designed to compete with the US polysynths of the time with DCOs for stability and the Curtis CEM for filters.

Arturia emulations have been improving over the years with many of their earlier recreations being reworked using cutting edge DSP coding and use of their TAE (Total Analog Engine).

The Synthx V obviously has several improvements over its bi-timbral hardware ancestor.  See below

  • MPE (MIDI Polyphonic Expression) compatibility for nuanced control
  • Advanced arpeggiators for complex rhythmic patterns
  • Expanded polyphony beyond the original's 8-voice limit
  • A powerful modulation matrix for deeper sound design
  • Enhanced sequencer with step-editing functionality
  • New onboard effects, including chorus, delay, and reverb
  • Customizable presets alongside classic sounds

Currently  available a one off purchase from €199 or less your price may vary depending on what you already own - login to your Arturia Account to find out, or as an add-on to the V Collection X (€599)
