Ableton Move Standalone Music Creation - 1st Look

Ableton has introduced Move, a new standalone instrument designed for quick and intuitive music creation. Move includes a 32-pad polyphonic aftertouch interface, a 16-step sequencer, and built-in speaker and microphone.

Move integrates tightly with Ableton Live software, allowing you to start tracks on the device and transfer projects to Live for further development using USB or Wifi .

Move comes preloaded with over 1,500 sounds and presets, and features eight built-in audio effects, including reverb, delay, and saturator. The device's battery supports up to four hours of music-making on a single charge, offering flexibility for musicians on the move.

• Sampling capabilities via an onboard microphone, 3.5mm line-in, and built-in speaker
• A 16-step sequencer with flexible track layouts, allowing drums, instruments, or samples to be quickly assigned
• Wi-Fi integration for easy file transfer to Ableton Cloud, facilitating smooth workflow with Ableton Live

Available immediately, Ableton Move is priced at $449 USD, €449 EUR, and £399 GBP. It comes with Live 12.1 Intro, which introduces new features like Auto Shift for pitch correction and harmonization, as well as a compact Drum Sampler and sound auto-tagging.
