SynthfestUK 24: New SSL mk2 32 Bit Interfaces

At SynthfestUK 2024, we caught up with Jason from Headline Audio, the exclusive distributor of SSL products in the UK.
He introduced us to the latest range of SSL audio interfaces, including the new mk2 versions of the SSL 2 and 2+ which now feature 32-bit conversion to align with the SSL 12.

These interfaces have been redesigned with a black finish, soft switches, and practical front-facing inputs and headphone outputs.
The 2 in 4 out format now uses all TRS jacks, removing the RCA outputs of the previous models, and they retain the popular legacy 4k switch for emulating classic SSL console recordings.

Prices are set at £215 for the SSL 2 and £285 for the SSL 2+.

The Big 6 was also on show - it can function as both an analog mixer and interface, featuring SSL's renowned G-Bus compressor and EQ from the Fusion - if you have the desk space (and the budget ) t's a compelling thing to base your studio setup around.
