Switch Mod for STEREO Guitars!

US New tonal possibilities from simple alteration      08/07/24

This video is quite special, in not only its message but presentation - one of the best I've seen this year! It focuses on adding a stereo switch control to your guitar while retaining all of the mono features - giving you a totally new way of emitting sounds. This mod allows you to activate a stereo signal with the different pickups being sent to different outputs, with the possibility of panning them and even altering the pickup tilt for a very dynamic stereo sound.

In this video, I show how you can install stereo wiring into most passive electric guitars and basses. I call this specific implementation the "Stereo Switch Mod". This kind of mod allows you output each pickup separately, similar to the "Rick-O-Sound" feature on Rickenbackers.
