McDSP Offers APB Thunderbolt Upgrade Kits

McDSP has announced the availability of Thunderbolt upgrade kits for its APB Analog Processing Box. They say that this upgrade will replace Thunderbolt 2 interfaces with Thunderbolt 3 interfaces.

A spokesperson told us, "The new Thunderbolt 3 interface utilizes the now- standard USB-C connectors, offering twice the speed of Thunderbolt 2, enhancing the overall performance of your APB hardware. Please note that this upgrade does not add any additional analog channels or analog processing capabilities to your APB hardware. Once upgraded, your APB unit will appear as a Thunderbolt 3 device, similar to other currently shipping APB hardware units."
