New Eurorack Module: Attenuverter Bank

US Larix-Elektro's latest contains four by four attenuverters      11/01/24

Larix-Elektro (LE) has introduced the ATTENUVERTER BANK, a new module in its CONTROLE series. Here's the details in their own words...

This module can act as the centerpiece for signal (audio and CV) routing.
Each line has a common input. There are 4 switches that activate this input for each of the 4 attenuverters.
Each column has a mixer output. There are also 4 switches to activate each of the 4 attenuverters to be mixed into this output.
SUM ALL output mixes together the 4 mix outputs.

It means that this module can act as:
- A bank of 16 attenuverter.
- A 4 by 4 matrix mixer.
- 4 independent 4 to 1 mixers.
- 4 independent 1 to 4 dispatcher.
- A full 16 input mixer (ok, don't expect the sound of a big studio console !)
... or everything in between.

For example:
- 3X3 matrix + 4 to 1 mixer + 1 to 2 dispatch and one independent attenuverter.

Several other modules are in the works and will be presented at SynthFest, and at SuperBooth.

LARIX-ELEKTRO was established a year ago and presented its first modules at SynthFest 2023.
The Attenuverter Bank was presented for the first time at SoundMit 2023.
The modules available are:

  • RITOURNELLE CV Generator
  • RITOURNELLE TRIG Generator
  • RITOURNELLE Shift-R
  • CONTROLE AttV-4
  • CONTROLE Attenuverter Bank

Pricing and Availability:

During January the price will be 280€ and 70€ for the kit. Before going to €320 and €90 respectively.
