DrumVerse R8 Sound Pack

Reverb Machine has covered a number of classic tracks on his website, with an extensive selection of in-depth tutorials on recreating them. They've just released the DrumVerse R8 sound pack - their biggest yet, which features sounds from the Roland R8 Drum Machine, used on so many instrumental releases. Here are the details:

My new sound pack, DrumVerse R8, recreates the sound of the R-8, a classic drum machine from the late 80s/early 90s that was used on Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works 85-92, The Cure's Disintegration, Prince's Diamonds and Pearls, and early Autechre records.

This is the biggest pack I've put together yet, including hundreds of samples from the original drum machine and all of its available expansion cards. It's pretty exhaustive, and because the R-8 includes samples of other classic machines (the TR-808, TR-909 and CR-78) alongside real drum sounds, the resulting collection offers a comprehensive selection of drum samples.

There are two formats available: a Sample Pack that features 528 WAV one-shots for use in any sampler or DAW and an Ableton Live Pack that includes 380 Instrument Racks and 50 custom Drum Rack kits.

The DrumVerse R8 Sound Pack is available now at $17 for the sample pack and $27 for the Ableton Live pack.

Sonicstate users can get a discount on the collection with this code: 4Y7D44WX
