Free Stereo Widening Plugin Updated

US Polyverse Music releases Wider 2.0 and announces Spring Sale      04/04/23

Free Stereo Widening Plugin Updated

Polyverse Music has announced the release of Wider 2, an updated version of their stereo widening plug-in. They tell us that the new version includes a low end bypass function, allowing users to exclude the low frequencies from the stereo widening effect, along with GUI scaling settings, mono and bypass buttons, improved stability and minor bug fixes.

Assaf Dar Sagol, CEO and founder of Polyverse Music, said, "Wider has always been one of our most popular plugins, and we're excited to release this new version with even more control and flexibility for our users. The bypass low end function is a game-changer for anyone looking to enhance the stereo image of their sound without losing control of the low end."

The company says that Wider gives users the ability to expand the stereo image of any signal to an awe-inspiring amount of width - it can be used to increase the stereo image of any signal up to 200% of full stereo for an extra wide, exaggerated effec. They say that what makes Wider unique is that it is completely "mono-compatible", meaning that any signal that has been widened will always remain in phase with itself, even if summed to mono.

Wider is available in VST2, VST3, AU, and AAX formats, making it compatible with a variety of host applications including Ableton Live, Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason, and Studio One. It can be used in 32/64-bit instances with Windows XP and up, as well as 64 Mac OS X 10.13 and up (intel and apple silicon).

In addition to the release of Wider 2, Polyverse Music is also announcing its spring sale on their website and through authorized dealers. They say that, from April 4 to April 18, 2023, customers can enjoy up to 33% off on several popular plugins:
