Free Ableton Workflow Optimization App

US Plugin Closer uses a single click to close multiple plugins simultaneously      01/12/22

Plugin Closer is a free Ableton Live extension that allows the closing of multiple plugins simultaneously with a single click, saving time and CPU while improving the workflow of DAW users. Here's the details from the developer, Slatin...

If you want to optimize your Live workflow, save CPU and improve your speed while mixing or producing - this app is for you!

Set a custom hotkey/shortcut to close individual or multiple plugins instantly, just with a touch of a button.

Hundreds of producers currently use this simple, free app.

Why is this even useful, and what is the difference with Ableton's integrated "hide plugins" option?

Ableton's integrated "hide plugins" function only hides the plugins behind the main window and doesn't close them. That leads to CPU spikes, graphic glitches, and latency after hiding many plugins. This extension solves that issue.

This app ACTUALLY closes the plugin windows as If you manually press the close button, but with a hotkey.

This way, your plugins don't pop up on the screen when you go back to a specific track, and it is much easier to access the plugins you need.

You can close unlimited plugins just by pressing your custom hotkey.
Very useful when opening long preset chains. Forget about clicking the X forever!

*Only works on MAC (OSX).
*Live Plugin Closer is not related in any way to Ableton
*Ableton and Live are trademarks of Ableton AG.
