Superbooth 22: Sebastian Merchel - Prototype Drum Beam

US A genuine before-they-were-famous moment with a future percussion instrument      13/05/22

Sebastian Merchel showed us his prototype Drum Beam (working title) and we were mightily impressed.

The instrument takes the form of a length of metal pipe, which, when hit, sends midi information over USB. Basically wherever, and however hard you hit it, it triggers any number of sounds, even allowing the performance of melodic parts.

Sebastian plans to go into production in the next two years, and is now looking for collaborators, could it be you?

There is currently no company name, and no website, but this will all change soon, so keep your ear to the ground!
