Boomwhackers!

Instruments which are accessible to all and can be played in groups are great fun, especially those which you can smack against your own legs (and presumably other body parts!). Boomwhackers are tuned percussion tubes which can be struck to play all your favourite hits, provided you have enough arms and legs to whack with/on ! This video from Havard Thud is an energetic and collaborative cover of the Outkast classic 'Hey Ya!'. Here's some more info on the instrument:
