XILS Audio PolyM 1.5 Released

XILS Audio have just announced their Poly M synthesizer, version 1.5, now available with a launch offer of 40% off the RRP. It's modeled on the Moog PolyMoog (with the iconic 'Vox Humana' sound) and now features an extended arpeggiator and many new presets as well as M1 and VST3 compatibility. Here are the details:

Unique features, unique sound: A few factors were integral in creating the iconic sound of the PolyM's glorious ancestor: Two T.O.D Oscillators (Top Octave dividers), with PER NOTE Pulse Width Modulation, initially used to get a big polyphony (at this time), a gritty Moog designed 24dB Ladder Filter, an acoustic Filter Bank and, finally, a character rich Resonator Bank.

More than two years spent analyzing our Polymoog synthesizer showed us that the most important part when recreating the true character of the sound is the Top Octave Divider Oscillators. So during several months, we worked on modeling Polymoog's oscillators in a way no one else did. A true Divide Down algorithm that brings the true sound of the Polymoog.

The legendary Vox Humana sound, popularized by Gary Numan in his song Cars, can now be played by anyone with our PolyM making it possible to deliver that authentic sound you would never have found without using the original classic synth.

What's new:

• A new Extended Arpeggiator has been integrated: Much more than the standard playing up and down the notes of a chord, this arpeggiator added cycled modulations and mute possibilities for sparkling notes that are a full of life.
• To take full advantage of the marvelous PolyM graphic interface in new high-resolution computers, we added several bigger sizes.
• More presets from Zensound, Daniel Stawczyk and Adam Borseti.
• Full compatibility with Apple M1 based computers.
• Full VST3 compatibility.
• Easy global A3 tuning (440hz, 432hz, anything else).

• Easy Octave change.

• Always the same stunning, analog sound.

• FREE for PolyM Owners

It's currently on launch offer at 89€ instead of 149€ - available only until February 28th, 2022. Head over to their site for more information: https://www.xils-lab.com/news/50/polym-15-released-with-launch-offer.html
