An Easy Way To Play Microtones

taqs.im tells us that their new MicroToner plugin allows you to play microtones with any plugin or virtual instrument. They say that it is modeled after popular Oriental Scale Converters used by Middle Eastern Musicians, modifying incoming MIDI Pitch Bend information to allow most virtual instruments and plugins to easily play microtones.

A spokesperson told us, "MicroToner comes with both a MIDI Effect plugin which can be used in DAW's like Logic Pro and Reaper and a full plugin host that can be used in any other DAW. Additionally, MicroToner comes with a vast built-in library of some of the most popular World MicroTonal scales."
