US Firmware V4.0 adds a brand new engine and more      28/10/21

Arturia says that Firmware V4.0 takes MicroFreak on a sonic expedition to the edge of wavetable synthesis, with a brand new engine, user wavetable compatibility, new presets, and more. A spokesperson told us, "Decimated waveforms, scanned sonic surfaces, and evolving 3D soundscapes - yours for free."

Here's more details direct from Arturia...

New WaveUser Engine
Upload your own custom wavetables - or any Wav or Aiff file ! - into MicroFreak via MIDI Control Center, then tweak your sound using Table, Position, and Bit Depth controls.

Sequencer Unison & Chord Voices
Now, every note that MicroFreak plays will reflect whether it's in Unison or Chord mode, including sequences, played notes, and notes received externally.

Faster Oscillator Encoder Settings
You can now select a faster scrolling speed for MicroFreak's Oscillator encoders in Global Settings; holding 'Shift' lets you toggle the original slower setting.

64 New Presets
Dozens of deep explorations of MicroFreak's new WaveUser engine, culminating in an inspiring array of wavetable and bitcrushed timbres.
