New Rollable Screen from LG At CES

US 18 inch screen in your pocket      05/01/16

For some people, the start of the year means CES in Vegas and then NAMM - can't imagine how that is possible, one big show is enough for the body. But CES is indeed on and the new technology is starting to be showcased - this rollable screen from LG looks interesting.

No, you cant fold it up, that would be cool, but would result in dead pixels a plenty, but you can roll it for now. Currently at 18 inches with a resultion of 1200x800 but LG say they will aim to produce 4k resolutions at up 55 inches in the future. And future is the key here, this has no price or release scheduled but it could mean we're one step closer to massive resolutions and very portable big screen computing sytems.

Oh, and in case you were planning to ride CES on your hoverboard - best leave it at home, they've been banned from the show floor.
