Future Retro has posted a full picture of their forthcoming FR-512 on their Facebook page. Reminiscent of an EDP Wasp, Electro-Harmonix Mini Synth or a Stylophone without its stylus, the FR-12 features a touchplate keyboard. You can see some of its features from the pic below, including a full set of MIDI socketry, CV connections, arpeggiator, sequencer, +/- 1 to 4 octave switching, pitch bend and modulation.

A spokesperson said, "There's still plenty left to be done... coding, testing, tweaking, manual writing, and assembly. Hopefully these will be ready by NAMM."

Our comments section gets plenty of complaints about the mini keys on a few of the recent hardware synths, so what do you think of this?
