NAMM 2015: Korg MS-20 Desktop Kit and SQ-1 Sequencer

More synth goodness      22/01/15

Buying Choices

Another couple of synth related goodies from Korg this year - first up the MS-20 Desktop Kit which is actually a thing of beauty, very simillar in looks to the MS-50, but obviously an MS-20. With additional OSC sync - though sadly no PWM - I can hope.

With three sets of mult splits as well its got more modularity (a word?) than the original MS-20. I must say I like.

Also awesome is the Volca like SQ-1 a CV/gate step sequencer with Hz/V V/Oct modes, two sets of CV/Gate outputs, Volca Synt and Littlebits CV/Gate output, plus USB MIDI - it can also work as a CV convertor. And the price $99 - now really? That seems like a good deal.
