BEHRINGER tells us that, built on the legacy of their best-selling ADA8000, their new  ADA8200 ADAT Audio Interface features high-end MIDAS mic preamps and reference-class Cirrus Logic converters, making it the natural choice for recording musicians and audio engineers alike. They say that, ideal for use with drums, keyboards, instruments and vocals, the ULTRAGAIN ADA8200 is the easy, affordable way to add 8 of MIDAS' legendary mic preamps to any recording system -- digital or analog.

Each of the ADA8200's inputs includes balanced XLR / TRS and unbalanced TS connectivity; variable Gain control; ultra-fast Signal/Clip metering; and global, true +48 V phantom power. In addition to 24-bit ADAT optical output with selectable 48 / 44.1 kHz sample rates, 8 direct analog outputs are conveniently located on the rear panel for routing flexibility.
