You'll remember the Eigenlabs Eigenharp Alpha and Pico. They were incredibly expressive and unusual instruments - kind of reminiscent of the Star Wars band. With up to 5000 samples per second, per button, an amazing level of expression was possible.

Initially this was great for viral Youtube videos, but in practice took some time to master and get configured right. Since then, a lot of work has gone into the setup and programming environment to configure the instrument. 

The new Workbench application allows for extremely deep tweaking and sound generation - with synthesis capabilities built in. There's also now a separate Stage application which allows for more global tweakery of parameters for use live.
