Top 20 Weirdest Instruments-The Reactable
US The synth you can eat your lunch off 11/12/08
Sorry this is a flash video which has been depreciated, we're working on bringing the archives back online.
This week's show is all about the Knight's of the Round Table. The Reactable that is. And the knight's? That'll be its inventors, Sergi Jorda, Marcos Alonse, Martin Kaltenbrunner and Gunter Geiger, all graduates of the Music Technology Group at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
As far as the instrument goes, well it's either a complete rethink of the way synthesis is perceived, or it's just a Mini Moog made out of salt 'n' pepper pots.
Nice, though...V-e-r-y nice.
