Darting between the aisles at the show we came across some interesting items... one of which was what appeared to be a waterproof necktie adorned with a similarly waterproof tie-clip microphone. Intrigued, we asked Ryoichi Asada of the Sanken Microphone Company what it was all about - he proceeded to give the mic a generous dousing of water, and yep - I can confirm the mic was definitely working. We asked him to do it again, this time for the camera... and it still worked ;-] So for anyone involved with those 'here-I-am-in-the-middle-of-a-storm' weather reports, you might want to check this one out!
