Gear of the Year RESULTS: Best Effects Pedals of 2013

Which pedal took the top spot in our Gear of the Year Awards?   05-Jan-14

3) TC Ditto Looper

It's difficult to excitedly talk about a looper pedal, it does what it says on the tin, it loops a signal.

But the TC Electronic Ditto Looper is beautifully simple, it might not have the kitchen sink approach of some of its competitors, but for people who want a great tool for practicing or for building up layers of a song, then it's perfect.

It's also tiny, which seems to be a common trend with recent TC Electronic products. The smaller the footprint, the more pedals you can fit on your board, right? And we all know that the key to being awesome is by having as many pedals as humanly possible.

You can pick it up for around £85, which ain't half bad.
