other people have said a lot about the easy use of this machine.... the sound is awesome!!! the filters are very good, very analogue like and the main character of this machine is big punching basses and great dynamics.... i have to struggle when i want little and unobtrusive sounds as everything is big, punchy and in your face. For this i have to praise Roland because also the old 12bit samplers (s550, 330 w30 etc) have the same big dynamic with slightly less highs

Awesome sampler. I owned S2000 which I sold after I got this monster. It was hard to find one and I'am not going to sell this.

Roland S-750. The beast of it kind. It sure rules in the audio world. The S-750 I own, is the only one there is in Malta. Not many people know about it, and some think it is crap, but hey, IT's an AMAZING SAMPLER.

Just wanted to say, I think Roland are stupid for having let go this sampler. They should built something for letting read other formats and also add more memory (but anyway they're too busy creating SHITboxes!).Peace! : )

I love the machine. The filters sound good and the overall sound quality is excellent. I wouldn't swap mine for a new akai. Looks good, which is also important. Very sturdy. Never touch one unless you've got a monitor - the operating system may seem complicated at first but it's great when you've learned how to use the machine properly.
