The RS-70 is Roland's budget synth. It does EVERYTHING they designed it to do and does it VERY well. I was very impressed with the overall sound quality. I'd have to say the sounds scream of the Roland XP series with some touch ups. You get good clean sounds, voice editing, great key action, sturdy contruction, 16 track 100,000 note pattern sequencing with all the editing features, and more. Overall the absolute "BEST" "bang for the buck" synth out there for less than $630.00!

Comments About the Sounds:
Overall the sounds are pretty good. The piano is amazig (especially at this price range). Some sounds are a little thin, but usable. The drums are very strong, and sound natural.
