Despite its size, was actually a pretty well featured synth, 37 keys(mini) 4 parts - two digital synth, drums, analog (mono) synth part. Vocoder(with gooseneck mic) and 4 part sequencer allows for some reasonable sketch pad - 129 voices, 2 FX, Delay and Reverb. We reviewed it and were impressed, for its time it was good value. And for a small portable mini sketchpad or something to control via a larger keyboard actually still stands up. particularly nice that you can program the PCM drum kit quite deeply to create custom kits Comments About the Sounds: The digital engine is surprisingly flexible if up to the usual Roland cryptic UI. Reminds us of a more up to date D110. analog engine a bit weedy |
