I haven't gotten to fool around with mine that much, but what I've seen I've liked a lot. It seems quite a bit beefier in comparison to the DR-660 and DR-5. Lots of different preset kits and patterns that for a change don't suck, plus there's a bunch of user memory as well. There's an excellent variety of sounds on this machine which might make it more useful and practical than the currently mega-popular dance-specific boxes and synths on the market right now. A good buy overall.

Comments About the Sounds:
Good sampled 808/909 kits. Ethnic percussion is quite nice as well. Strong standard kits.
