The E4K Turbo is still the best stand alone sampler keyboard ever made. It gives the live musician so much freedom to have 128 voices and 32 midi channels and loads of sample memory on stage. Unique sound loading features allow sounds to be audtioned before loaded into sample ram...very cool and practical. The keyboard action is it's biggest drawback...a bit noisy and too light on the action...but like all keys, you adjust. With todays softsamplers, I find that I am doing most of my sample editing through gigasampler and other software, and loading into E4k for live performance. Also use it to trigger long samples or background tracks...very reliable.

Comments About the Sounds:
Arguably the best sounding sampler series (E4) with excellent filters, and usable effects for studio or live.
