This is the (semi-unknown) big brother to the S1000 sampler, just about exact same thing except its got a black face aswell as a DSP effects processor with a number of effects to be put to work, built in SCSI port (unlike S1000), AES/EBU Digital In/Out also built in, HardDisk Recording feature "phase-locked stereo recording" also built in SMPTE! They lack alot of synthesis functions but are still great samplers! So to sum it up its really a super S1000, much better then the S2000-S3k/S32k units IMHO, just need to find it first they are a bit hard to come by!

Last OS was v4.3 (make sure you upgrade) (they are no longer mfg)

Comments About the Sounds:
Its a sampler, you have to sample sounds, but the sound quality of S1100 is great!!!
