This is a S1000 which can't record, this is juste a player, but you can make your sample with your pc (or mac :o) and transfer it into the sampler with the sds or floppy. Others differencies there isn't time strech and loop editing, soundforge 4.5 is better than un older S1000... ps: sorry i'am french
