Comments About the Sounds:
As you can see I think the sounds are quite good, especially if you compare the quality of the sounds with the price of the synthesizer (with all it's cool things). The only less good sounds are the piano sounds and some orchestra string pads. Also the normal GS and GM sounds are a little bit less dynamic then the XG sounds, it's not that they are bad but it's more that they sound a little bit cold when playing alone compared with the XG and QS300 sounds. I must say that when playing complete MIDI files the GM/GS sounds sound much better. You should also check out the included DEMO disk with 100 house/dance/hip-hop/rave patches. You will notice that if you are going to make dance music (or something like that), the QS300 is an extremely good synthesizer. And after all, with all the effects the synthesizer supports together with the clean basic samples you can make very good pathes (listen to the DEMO disk and the USER patches).
