So far, I have had the Ion in my studio for a little less than 4 hours and I am completely amazed at what its already doing. The user interface is dead simple to use, and the sound is staggaring. I also have an alesis andromeda, and I think it may be sold very soon. I also have a virus indigo, waldorf Xtk and korg ms2000 which may see the classifieds soon. yes..this synth sound that good.

My only wish is that it had 16 note or even 32 note polyphony. My hope is that the ion is the cheap version so that alesis can recoup their R&D costs so they can then put out a bigger one in a year or two. this is hands down the finest VA i have played, and I have played them all.

Comments About the Sounds:
Hands down the best analog emulation I have heard yet. this VA is better than a waldorf q in my book - great sound, less bugs

(Thanks to sputnik boy for this info.)
and Herbert Baioco for the pic
