Well, I've only used this for the mac but it is pretty good as it offers plenty of I/O via adat pipes. With logic the card seems to perform pretty well and not stress the CPU too much. The latency is adjustable and can be brought down to as little as 3ms or so - thought this will tax the cpu more. I know a couple of folks who use this very happily with Cubase VST also mac and are very pleased with the way it interfaces with their 02R desk (via adat cards) This card is really giving folks whose only previous option was ProTools, a good alternative. With the optional A/D and D/A boxes you effectively get the same analog I/O as an 882 or 888 with full 24bit resolution.

Good Points Price, ins and outs and compatibillity. I know of a number of professional users who are very pleased with theirs Bad Points Lack of additional spdif or AES connections , though there is a format converter that can be used - too though this is obvioulsy another expense. You can switch one of the ADAT ports to support SPDIF either via optical or with a format converter to coax |
