Cinematic Sound Design Instrument

Soundmorph releases Phuze   14-May-26

Soundmorph describes Phuze as a cinematic sound design instrument, acreative sound design machine built for fast experimentation, happy accidents, and expressive sonic sculpting. A spokesperson told us, "At its core is a simple idea: load your own sounds, press Shuffle, and let Phuze generate combinations you would not have found by hand. Then take what it gives you and shape it into something uniquely yours."

Here's more details direct from the company...

Phuze splits sound across three frequency bands -- Low, Mid, and High -- with four sound emitters in each band, for a total of 12 sound sources working together at once. Each band can hold its own sample bank, and each emitter has dedicated controls for sample selection, reverse, volume, pan, hold, pitch, rate, start, end, attack, and release. The result is a layered engine designed for impacts, pass-bys, transitions, UI sounds, creature textures, trailer design, weapons, mecha, atmospheres, and highly detailed motion-driven effects.

Built around a controlled-chaos workflow, PHUZE encourages rapid experimentation while still giving you deep control over the final result. Every parameter can be randomized independently, locked from shuffle, or constrained with custom ranges, allowing you to discover completely unexpected sounds while maintaining creative direction.
