NAMM 2023: Beyerdynamic - New Look

US Beyerdynamic celebrate 100 years with a facelift      15/04/23

German audio company Beyerdynamic is celebrating its 100th anniversary producing microphones and headphones next year. Speaking at NAMM 2023, Beyerdynamic's Jaime showcased a range of microphones that have been redesigned to have a consistent look and feel as part of the M series. These microphones have been used by famous artists such as Jimi Hendrix and Led Zeppelin and will continue to deliver the same vintage sound. Also featured were the M70, great for broadcast, podcast, and video gaming, and the M90 Pro X, a large element condenser microphone for home studio vocalists.

Beyerdynamic also presented new Pro X headphones that were released in 2021, priced at $259. They feature more efficient drivers, allowing them to be plugged into a phone or computer and still provide great audio. Beyerdynamic's range of headphones starts at $159 and goes up to $600 for their flagship Tesla driver models, which are designed for high-end monitoring and mixing and mastering. The Pro X headphones are more versatile and are designed for both mixing and listening for pleasure..
