NAMM 2020: Korg Wavestate - 4 Part Sample Based Synth With WaveSequencing

US 64 stereo voices, modelled filters, FX and sequencing      07/01/20

Korg describe their new Wavestate as a natural evolution of the original Wavestation, which got a lot more development through their OASYS  and KRONOS instruments and now has become "the next step in digital synthesis".

Wavestate represents an evolution of digital synthesis and more specifically Wave-sequencing 2.0 - a technology first seen in the WaveStation keyboard - originally designed by a Korg team led by Dave Smith. The new Wavestate features massively expanded sample RAM, polyphony and other features for some complex synthesis.

We got to take a look and listen with Luke at Korg HQ in the UK
