Superbooth 2019: Mayer Digital Poly and Control For Eurorack

US Proprietary control bus to control main unit      17/05/19

This is a relatively new concept, almost bypassing the Eurorack concept of patching CV cables, and using the racking system to power it. The M800 is an advanced multi-timbral poly unit with sample player, arpeggiators and plenty more, but uses a secondary bus to receive control signals from dedicated controller modules. These make no sound themselves, but are used to control the main M800 unit.
It remains to be seen if the world is ready for such a conceptual sea change, but it has some interesting possibilities. These are not available to buy just yet...
