Mercuriall Audio has released 1987X-SG, a new add-on for Ampbox, and updated Ampbox to v1.4. They tell us that 1987X-SG is based on the Marshall 1987X specially modified for Sergey Golovin. It includes a custom variation of the JOSE mod with an additional pregain knob and an jumped switch on two channels. Here's the story in their own words...

We are excited to introduce our new amplifier -- Mercuriall 1987X-SG! This time, we decided to experiment and modeled a modified amplifier of the legendary virtuoso guitarist Sergey Golovin. This modification is based on the famous JOSE mode for Plexi Super-Lead amplifiers. Sergey, using his extensive studio and concert experience, aimed to create his unique sound, and we trusted his expert opinion in guitar gear tuning.

Now, together with Sergey, we offer you a unique opportunity to experience his signature sound right on your computer! In addition to the modified amplifier, we have preserved the original 1987X sound with the Jumped mode.

This add-on for Ampbox, created using Neural Hybrid Engine v3.0 technology, is based on the legendary Marshall amplifier but has become even more vibrant and responsive than all our previous developments in Spark. We wish you creative success and a bright, rich guitar tone!
