We've covered the work of Alex Yard before, in his incredible in-depth look at the music of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. Here he is taking an insanely detailed look at Super Mario 64, the flagship title for Nintendo's mid-nineties monster and it's incredible music. The level of musical knowledge on show is almost god-level; detailing not only the chords and melodic features hidden within the first level, but the themes which run throughout the game, and help to subconsciously guide the player through the story / game.
